What Fellows Do
The Foresight Fellowship is a structured, multi-level research and policy training program designed to nurture the next generation of thinkers in international relations, foreign policy, and global affairs. We provide a collaborative, mentored environment where students transform research into impactful public knowledge—through policy briefs, intelligence reporting, podcasts, and high-quality publications.

Fellowship Structure
• The program is offered in three progressive levels, allowing fellows to grow from foundational research skills to leadership in global policy discourse.
Research Fellow (Budding Expert)
Duration: 3 months
Eligibility: Open to postgraduate students with an interest in global affairs.
Objective: Introduce students to the fundamentals of international relations research and policy analysis.

Structure: 3-month guided fellowship with daily mentorship, research assignments, and introductory podcast training, giving research fellows a digital ID.
Outcome: Fellows publish select outputs, and build a foundational research portfolio.
Research Fellow (Expert I)
Duration: 6 months
Eligibility: Completion of Budding Experts fellowship or equivalent academic experience (open to postgraduates with an interest in global affairs).
Objective: Deepen analytical and research capabilities through advanced engagement with global policy issues.

Structure: 6-month fellowship focusing on independent research projects, peer collaboration, and podcast co-hosting.
Outcome: Fellows publish in Foresight Research Papers, feature in podcasts, and develop a professional research portfolio.
Senior Research Fellow (Expert II)
Duration: 6 months
Eligibility: Completion of Expert or demonstrated expertise in international relations.
Objective: Position fellows as thought leaders contributing original insights to international policy discourse.

Structure: 6-month advanced fellowship emphasizing leadership, mentorship of junior fellows, and high-impact publications.
